Golden Crumb Lamb Loaf
2 lbs ground lamb or mutton
1/2 c. cracker crmbs
3/4 c. milk
2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
2 tsp worcestireshire sauce
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 egg, beaten
1 TBSP button, melted
2 TBSP cracker crumbs
Combine 1st 8 ingredients. Mix thoroughly. Pack into a 9" x 5" loaf pan.
Combine melted butter and 2 TBSP cracker crumbs. Sprinkle over lamb loaf.
Bake in a slow oven (325 degrees) for 1 1/4 hours. Makes 8 servings.
